The Buta II - A Lightweight Skinner

Scott has begun finishing the knives he made at his ABS class last month. The Buta II, a lightweight skinner, was the first to be completed. Buta is Japanese for pig. The Buta II is a hand-forged skinner cord wrapped in the Japanese style. This knife is reminiscent of our retired Buta design, but is much beefier, curvier and comes with our hammer-marked "rustic" finish. The Buta II was designed to be a skinner, but would also make an excellent everyday cary. This Buta II comes standard with a black Kydex sheath and weighs 8.1 ounces - sheath included. This knife is also a natural candidate for a GHF Kydex shoulder holster. Add the shoulder holster rig to your purchase for an additional $65.
