Damascus for Blade Show 2014

Scott just finished three Damascus pieces for Blade Show.
One small and delicate, one big and bold . . .

 
Damascus Hunter
Steel: 1095/15n20

Guard: Damascus w/ peened bronze spacer


Damascus Diamondback
Steel: 1095/15n20
Pattern: Tranquil Pool
Blade Length: 9 3/4 inches
Overall Length: 15 1/4 inches
Handle: Dyed Hawaiian Mango
Guard: Bead-blasted 416 Stainless w/ nickel-silver spacers


. . . and one that's just a touch blue.

Titanium Sword Cane Complete

Scott finished his latest sword cane today. The blade is anodized titanium, and the total weight of the cane is 17 ounces. For construction pictures see previous posts.

You can anodize titanium to a range of colors. Scott choose blue to fend off Orcs. 


The knob is African Blackwood with a stainless ferrule and Damascus throat.
